They offer in-person, videoconference or telephone interpreter services for over 200 languages. To take advantage of interpreter services, contact your local Avera facility and a patient services representative will assist you in coordinating the interpreter services you need.
Hospitalists Coordinate Care
At Avera, you may receive care from hospitalists – doctors who are available 24/7 to provide exclusive care for patients during their hospital stay. A hospitalist is a physician who specializes in the practice of hospital medicine and whose primary professional focus is in the general medical care of hospitalized patients.
Billing and Charity Care
Hospital bills and health insurance claims can be confusing. We want to help you understand how we bill patients, and provide information on financial assistance if you are unable to pay.
